If you see someone who often experiences anxiety and depression, you will quickly assume that it is a sign of mental health problems. Even is though go in fact anxiety and depression does not mean signs of mental health problems, but can be a sign of the side effects of certain medical problems that is often considering wrong as mental health problems.

Although in some cases if someone experiences symptom like a mental health problem it is true to experience it or it could also be the effect of certain medical symptoms. Here are 5 symptoms that is often misinterpreted as mental illness.

1. Thyroid

People who experiences thyroid are often misdiagnosed because symptoms of this disease is similar to depression. At a certain level, the thyroid can cause damage to the mood, energy, and feelings to enjoy life.

2. Diabetes

According to the American Diabetes Association, especially type 2 diabetes, the symptoms are very similar to symptoms of depression. The patient's mood will be weak, emotions that is fast high or easily angry, and also the weight loss that occurs drastically. This is because insulin resistance in the body is high, not because of mental health.

3. Fatigue syndrome.

According to the Mayo Clinic, fatigues syndrome is a disease characterized by extreme fatigue, memory loss or concentration. So it's no wonder why this disease is often considered depressed.

4. Anemia

Almost the same as the symptoms of fatigue syndrome, sufferers often feel weak not eager to do activities liked someone is in depression. Though these health conditions are caused by a lack of blood cells in the body, so oxygen is not spread well to all organs of the body and sufferers become weak.
